Lucia Boni

Since 1978 LUCIA BONI has been designing and creating her own original handwoven jackets, coats and capes on a vertical tension loom, using tapestry techniques.

Her armonious color schemes and use of fine materials such as mohair are the result of her personal mission to create exclusive items. Each one of her handmade articles of clothing is unique, personalized and custom made.

In addition, the manual processing of each individual garment allows the creation of unique, customised and made-to-measure pieces.

In 1990, Lucia produced some of the costumes for the lead roles in Franco Zeffirelli's film Hamlet.

She is often invited to participate in collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad (the USA, Japan, Paris, etc.).
