Il tessuto di questa giacca mi è stato commissionato, insieme ad altri, dal regista Franco Zefirelli per il mantello della regina Gertrude nel film Amleto, anche se poi è stato destinato al Re Claudio per la scena dei funerali di Ofelia.
The Gertrude jacket is hand woven and sewn in mohair super kid, silk, alpaca and pure wool. It fastens by means of hooks like a furcoat. Satin lining. Very comfortable, soft, light and warm. The Jacket features an extra lining made of batting, making it ultra-warm, and perfect for very cold weather. A one-off piece.
